Lisa Laws

Lisa has over 25 years’ experience in the Travel Industry and founded The Black Onyx Group Travel (TBOG Travel) in 2009.  She is a certified travel concierge who specializes in group travel and event coordinating, with a passion for philanthropy and luxury customer experience.  Certified as an Africa Travel Specialist, Lisa also specializes in creating phenomenal travel experiences to Africa, with Morocco and Ghana being her favorite destinations. She is also a Jamaica Travel Specialist and recognized as one of the top 50 Travel Agents by the Jamaican Tourism Board.  Lisa is the founder and event coordinator of Reggae Runnerz, an annual collective of runners from groups around the world that come together for a “runcation” and to run in the Reggae Marathon in Negril, Jamaica.

Her favorite destination is Jamaica and anywhere in Africa!  Her dream travel experience is Gorilla Trekking in Uganda, which she is planning for June 2024!

Chyrisse Jackson

Chyrisse met Lisa over 10 years ago. During those years she attended the Reggae Runnerz’s event as a volunteer. In 2019, a mutual friend suggested that they bring their expertise and mutual love for travel together to form a dynamic team.

Chyrisse has over 20 years of group and corporate travel experience. She started booking travel for attorneys at the law firm she managed as well as planning various family vacations.  In 2016, Chyrisse started the process of becoming a certified travel agent and started doing business as Ms.Bookpackgo in 2017.

Chyrisse has traveled to many countries, her two favorite places to visit are Jamaica and Italy. Chyrisse loves travel and enjoys planning the perfect trip for her clients.

Administrative & Billing Specialist

Dawn Murphy

Dawn has over 20 years experience in the Hospitality Industry and manages all billing and administration for the company. She is based out of the New York Office and her favorite place to travel is Italy.
