I had the distinct pleasure of traveling with TBOG to Ghana in January of 2024. I did not know what to expect, but what I found was a deeply spiritual experience that I could not have had without the activities that TBOG planned for us. Now let me say, we travelled with 150 Type A personality professionals, who were not always cooperative when it came to moving around the country, making adjustments and moving through the activities. Lisa and her staffers made certain that we had experiences that were meaningful to returning home to our Motherland. We travelled to Slave River, Elmina and Cape Coast Castles (Dungeons). We had a Naming Ceremony where we were all given Ghanaian names on our 8th day home (a tradition of Ghanaian birth rights). Lisa and her staff members even got us an audience with the Former President of Ghana. We were graciously entertained by Former President John Agyekum Kufuorso. This was an experience that only TBOG could give us because of the obvious relationships they have formed with our Ghanaian brothers and sisters. Each motor coach had our own tour guide who were true historians. If you are looking for authentic experiences that give you a sense of what a country is truly about, travel TBOG.
